In order to successfully place dental implants, the right technology and techniques are needed. At Park Place Dental Centre, we want to ensure your implant procedure is quick and comfortable. By using our dental technology, Dr. Svoboda is able to precisely place your dental implants, providing you with a more secure, durable fit.
You’ll be able to experience a shorter recovery with minimal discomfort, less time spent in the dentist’s chair, and a long-lasting tooth restoration. Learn about the technology and techniques we use for your dental implant procedure.
With our advanced technology, we’re able to provide a number of benefits to our patients and dental team, including:
At your initial consultation, Dr. Svoboda will review your oral health and examine your teeth, gums, and jawbone to ensure your mouth is prepared for dental implants. If you require a supplemental treatment prior to your implant procedure, we can perform it conveniently here at our office, so you won’t have to go back and forth between different surgeons.
Once we begin to create your treatment plan, Dr. Svoboada will use our dental x-rays to capture a complete, panoramic view of your entire mouth. This will allow him to see any issues in your mouth and then help him curate an accurate plan for your upcoming procedure.
Digital imaging is a great improvement in dentistry that offers features to enhance the viewing of any potential problem areas. Digital x-rays use very low levels of radiation and are easily displayed instantly on a computer screen for both our patients and doctors to see. X-rays are important prior to your dental implant placement because they give Dr. Svoboda a clear, complete panoramic image of your entire mouth.
We also use L-PRF Platelet Therapy, which is short for Leukocyte-Platelet Rich Fibrin. Leukocytes are white blood cells that are a part of the immune system and help heal our bodies. Platelets are also blood cells that attract more healing cells and work with Fibrin to create blood clots.
These blood clots are just like a scab on your knee that forms due to an injury and then eventually regenerates healthy skin after it has healed. Dr. Svoboda takes a sample of your blood and uses it to create a blood clot to help speed up your recovery from a supplemental procedure or for after placing your implants.
This technique is used to reduce the risk of allergies or side effects because it’s your own blood with its own unique healing abilities. Your implant procedure will be much more efficient with the help from the L-PRF process.
With help from our technology and techniques, Dr. Svoboda is capable of providing patients with a safe and effective implant treatment that ensures success and durability.
